Because usually in my corners I usually hear about the guys and how awesome/hot/sexy they are. Even in avatar, a lot of it was how hot Zuko was. Which I don’t hate, but it’s the same ol’ same ol’ in my fandom life. is the one and only time we ever see Azula show even an ounce of real compassion. Actual remorse for something nasty she has said. She cares about Ty Lee’s feelings. Not Mai’s, not her brother’s, just Ty Lee.
I also see Ty Lee as the kind of person who wouldn’t be bothered by anything anyone says of her. The only person whose words hurt her is Azula. Azula’s is the only opinion she cares about. Zuko calls her a circus freak, we get a speech wrapped up neatly with a perfect “‘circus freak’ is a compliment!” Azula suggests she’s a tease and suddenly there are waterworks.
I’m probably just reiterating the exact same argument of any Tyzula shipper, but seriously… it’s pretty undeniable that they would part as, at the VERY least, total besties.
